Other Calabria Dogs
It's hard to say good bye to any dog you've had contact with. So this page is dedicated to dogs that started their lives here and have gone to new homes.  It's also a good reason to brag on people.

Litter #1
Ch. McMatt's EZ Going X Darwin's Image of Calabria
Let's start with our very first Calabria litter.  Our Calie was bred to Cruiser (AKC/ASCA Ch. McMatt's EZ Going).  Calie was the best whelper to date.  The puppies just zipped right out.  The breeding produced four wonderful puppies.  Tony, Guido, Shelly and Louie.  Tony and Guido stayed with us in Texas.  Shelly and Louie are below.

AKC/ASCA Ch. Calabria's Litl Miss Dangrus
(aka Shelly)

Shelly came to this world from Calie's first litter.  She moved to Louisiana to stay with our friends at BayouLand Aussies.  They have taken Shelly to great heights.  Shelly was the first, out of Calie's litter, to get both her AKC and ASCA Champion titles.
After four years at Bayouland, Shelly has gone International.  She has moved to Denmark to stay at Painted Magic.  Congratulations,
Anne-Lotte Prøhl, on your new family member.  We hope to see Shelly shine as both a mother and competitor.

Calabria's All That Jazz (aka Louie)
Louie is the fourth pup out of Calie's first litter..  Louie was so full of energy as a pup and gave Tony and Guido a run for their money.  Louie made the longest trip out of the four puppies and went to Kentucky.  He now lives with our friend, Sherry, where he's working on an Obedience title and maybe Agility.  Go, Louie, Go.

Litter #2
Ch. Ironhorse One Ton Dually
           X            Moonlight's Lit'l Bit O Magic

For our second litter we decided to let Mystie give it a shot.  Mystie was bred to Dually.  Mystie turned out to be a great mom.  The breeding produced three fun puppies (all blue merles).  Scout, Billy and Gracie.  We didn't keep anyone from this litter since we wanted to keep a black.  Scout and Gracie are shown below.  I don't have a current picture of Billy (hint hint).

Calabria's Get A Grip (aka Scout)
The first dog out of Mystie's first litter, Scout headed to the Conformation ring and lucky for us, he lives right here in Texas.  We get to watch him progress and help out where we can.  Scout live with our friends, the Harding family.  The picture shows Scout (right) and his best friend, Rascal.  They were heroes in March, 2007 when the Hardings were on a camping trip.  It had rained earlier in the evening and the campground was on a flood plain.  Scout and Rascal knew something was up and they barked to wake the family.  Everyone barely got out safely but the same can't be said for their car or the camping equipment.  Scout and Rascal should get a medal.  Thank you, Keely.

Calabria's Dreamboat Annie JS-N, NA, OAJ, OJP, CL1, CL2, TN-N, CGC  (aka Gracie)
Gracie wins the award for the longest trip to a new family.  Bill and Donna Koehn made that possible and Gracie hopped a flight to Wisconsin.  As you can see by the photo, Gracie is Daddy's Girl.  She has started her Agility career and from the reports we've gotten, she is doing great.  She competes in CPE, ASCA and AKC agility.  I've added a few pictures of Gracie in action.
Thank you, Bill and Donna.

Gracie has her own picture page.

Litter #3
Ch. Calabrias Offr U Cant Refuse
           X            Moonlight's Lit'l Bit O Magic

We decided to stay "In House" with our third litter and Mystie's second.  So we bred Tony to Mystie.  We hoped to save some money by not having to pay stud fees but Mystie had other plans.  She needed a C-section.  The breeding produced five wonderful puppies.  Christine, Bella, Paul, Mattie and Sophia.  Christine and   Paul are
staying with us.  The rest are shown below.

Calabria's Black Velvet Skye HIC (aka Mattie)
Mattie made the longest "road trip" of Mystie's second litter of puppies.  When we drove from Texas to Wisconsin to attend the 2006 ASCA Nationals, Mattie made the trip.  While in Wisconsin we met Annette.  She had been watching Mattie on our web site and was in love before she ever met her.
Mattie has moved in with Wayne and Annette Dubois in Jackson Wisconsin.  She has started her agility training alongside her half-sister, Gracie.  She also tries to sneak cheese from the Dubois' cheese shop.  Mattie has also taken a stab at herding.  She is seen here earning her HIC.  Thank you Wayne and Annette.
Mattie has her own picture page.
Go see her in action.

"Calabria's The Black Orchid" (aka Sophia)

Sophia has made a friend at her new home with the Keehn family in Houston, TX.  Sophia is shown with her new house mate, Mickey.   Looks like a fun time.

Thank you Paul for giving her a good home.

(any new pictures?)

"Ch. Calabria's Bella Donna of Po"  (aka Bella)

Isabella has moved in with our good friends, Doug and Sue Fullington at Po Australian Shepherds and is competing here in Texas.  She has made her ASCA and AKC debuts and she is looking great.  She already has her ASCA Ch Title and an ASCA-BOB to her credit and She's giving her siblings, Christine and Paul, a run for their money.
To celebrate her latest ASCA and AKC wins, Bella now has her own picture page.  CLICK HERE
