     Mystie is the closest we've ever come to having a puppy picked for us.  We were looking for a blue merle puppy and our mentor decided to hook us up.  And boy, did she hook us up.
     We were looking for a breeder in our local area but our mentor said we should look for a bitch outside of Texas to add some diversity.  We didn't know any other breeders but she did.  Not only did she know one, she had invited her to Texas to judge at our local ASCA club, TASA.
     We were trying to figure out a way to introduce ourselves gracefully after the show, but our mentor had done it again.  We had been invited to dinner with her and the judge.  Needless to say, we met all the criteria and Mystie came to live with our little pack.
     Mystie has turned into a graceful girl with a flowing side gait, bright expression and a happy attitude that makes her a lot of fun in the ring. 
     Mystie produced three wonderful puppies in 2005 and they are making a name for themselves in Conformation and Agility.  In 2006 she whelped five puppies sired by our own Tony.  They have moved in with their new families and are making new friends every day.  We know we'll see them in the future making their mom proud in Conformation and Agility, or just being great Companions.
