Welcome to Much Ado Great Danes. We're absolutely passionate about producing sound, healthy dogs with good temperaments--these dogs are our house pets as well as show dogs, and we strive to place every one of our puppies successfully as joyful members of their new families.
Who are we?

Much Ado is a small home kennel in Plaistow, New Hampshire. We're just north of the Massachusetts line and not far from Maine.

What makes us different? For the past seven years, we've shown and bred uncropped, raw-fed, holistically raised Great Danes. We're committed to all three of those facets of dog ownership, and we encourage you to learn more about natural rearing and the real pleasure that it is to enjoy a beautiful Dane with ears left where they belong.

After three generations of Danes carefully selected for sound bodies and minds and excellent temperaments, we are closing this chapter in our breeding lives. Our puppies have gone on to conformation shows, competitive obedience, therapy work, and other jobs, but we're just as proud of the many who are loving members of households and families. We continue to love Danes and their flawless personalities, but we've concluded that swimming against the tide of health problems is just too difficult--one too many puppies has gone to heaven far too soon for us.

As of October of 2006, we have made the decision to stop breeding Danes--we will keep this site up as a resource for our current owners and to maintain our contact information, but we will no longer be taking puppy inquiries.

We invite you to visit our Cardigan Welsh Corgi site.
We strongly advise against purchasing a puppy of any breed in a pet shop--click to read why.
