Windows 3.1 and Windows for Workgroups 3.11
|
When Windows 3.1 came out , there were
people who complained about how bloated it was, and that it was a
resource-hog. Of course, they had no idea at the time how big the
next version of Windows was to be. Compared to Windows 95, 3.1 is
quite small, and it runs fast on any Pentium or higher system. Admittedly, 3.1 has its limits, but it's still fun to play around with. And for an old 486 PC, a well-designed MS-DOS 6.22/Windows For Workgroups 3.11 setup lets you get the most use out of it. |
