Come
on in for a visit. This is going to be a permanent page for the old Sarge
to show pictures of himself. Drop me a line, just to say hi. |

In
1986, I was ordered home to the USA for my final tour of duty at the Johnson
Space Center in Houston Texas. I decided to return home on the Queen Elizabeth
II. An ocean voyage that few ever have the experience to take. Here is a
day by day report of that trip. Now I know why I joined the Air Force
and not the Navy. |

A
Trip to Cape Canaveral to witness the launch of the 100th Space Shuttle

"The
Fox Inn", a Public House located in the ancient market town of Oswestry,
Shropshire, England. Built in 1567 it still serves cool pints of beer, and
some of the best noon time Pub meals around. One of the few "Black
and White Timbered Buildings" left in Oswestry. |

Report
of the UK 2001 Incursion. This trip I concentrated on Public Houses, or
Pubs as they are referred to. I did manage to get into Wales a couple of
times but trips were limited due to the Foot in Mouth crisis that is in
progress. I witnessed it first hand. It is real and it is a threat. However,
Foot in Mouth is completely harmless to humans and this should not deter
you from visiting the UK. Your arms will not fall off. |

November
2001, it's back to the UK to complete where I left off in the Spring. I
managed to get to all the pubs that I didn't get to last time. All that
is but one, which I found as I was leaving. Well you can bet this will be
one of the first stops I make when I next return. The Honorable Gentleman
from Morda tells me that he will arrange a trip to the Houses of Parliament
on my next trip. I look forward to doing a web site on that. |

This
trip to the UK proved to be one of the busiest on record. Nonstop moving
including a trip to Parliament and the chance to set in the gallery while
the House of Commons was in session. I actually got to witness and hear
British Prime Minister Tony Blair refer to some one as an "Honorable
Gentleman". |

In England for the Christmas and New Year Holiday and a trip to the Shropshire Fire Services Headquarters. |

St.
Peter's is a 1000 year old church located on the banks of the Rivers Severn
and Vyrnwy. I am told that this church is slowly sliding into the river.
What a loss of history if it is allowed to do this. |

This
page is dedicated to the kind family that has been putting up with me
for the past 25 years while in Jolly olde England. I even have a picture
of Barney, the Golden Retriever.
