Certification Of Military Service

As many of you know, there was a devastating fire at the repository of Military Records in St. Louis Missouri in 1973. Many hundreds of thousands of records were lost, including my father’s. When it comes to doing research, this has been a serious blow in finding out detailed information concerning his movements between 1943 and his discharge in 1945.

Below, a Certification of Military Service is all that I’ve gained from my requests to the archives for his records. If anyone has information that would shed some light, please contact me.
