These
are the approximant locations of the Army Air Bases in 1942-3.
There
were numerous auxiliary fields located throughout the central and western Kansas
during the 1942 to 1945 time frame.
As
you may have noticed, these locations are superimposed upon a current map of
Kansas.
If
anyone has, and would like to donate, a usable electronic copy map of Kansas
circa 1942, I would love to update this map and give the donator proper credit.
