Do we know Him as He is? Are we in love with Him? Do we hear Him? Do we obey and follow Him, out of love? Does
He know us? Does He know us in the way that He knows we love Him who first loved us and gave Himself
for us, therefore obey Him? Do we recognize the sheer weight and depth of the power of His love towards
us?
Is it too much for Him to ask us, then, to deny ourselves, take up our cross and follow Him as the way we
must go as well?
DO YOU (____________________), TAKE JESUS TO BE YOUR LAWFULLY WEDDED GOD - TO HAVE AND TO HOLD - COME WHAT MAY - FOREVER - ?
Being born again is the betrothal of the pure white bridegroom prince to the sin-blackened pauper bride -
it is the bended knee RSVP marriage invitation by the worthy King of glory to the unworthy chief of sinners -
it is the capture and sealing of the heart by the greatest love of them all, and of us locking Him fast within and throwing away the key... forever -
it is the turning away of the eyes from everything else that vies for our attention in order to look and feast upon the love of our life,
the One who loved us with a love unmatched in giving Himself for us -
it is when even the briefest 'glance' upon such indescribable beauty (whom the world deems ugly) is enough to make us cry out in joy and to take the breath away in the most reverant awe, deepest appreciation and longing anticipation for Him -
it is the placing of the diamond wedding band; the promised Holy Spirit, upon the finger that we may be
presented as pure virgins, as we go about getting our affairs in order in preparing to meet Him -
it is to those who only have singular eyes that long see Him with; coming in glory, honor and power, whose hearts burn within
for their mighty and glorious prince and most precious love of their life; who is and means everything to them, to appear.
THAT, my friend, is what Life is all about: "LOVE":
Gal 2:20 I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which
I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.
It's time to get into "the court of the king", the holy of holies, the secret hiding place and have some serious "two way" fellowship with Him who first loved you and gave Himself for you..
Eph 3:
1 Pet 1:
Is too much for the greatest Love of them all to ask the loved one to bear His marks for Him (out of their
returned love for Him) in their body?
Is it too much for the most awesome, purest and absolutely perfect God to ask His subjects to sell it all -
give it away - if that's what it takes, and come to Him lock, stock and barrell?
God is Love!
16 That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his
Spirit in the inner man;
17 That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love,
18 May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height;
19 And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the
fulness of God.
7 That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ:
8 Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory:
9 Receiving the end of your faith, even the salvation of your souls.
