Apostacy 2,000's
"The Time" Paul is refering to is NOW! The time has come! Any Christian who loves the Truth can see this happening today on a scale so massive that it has never happened before in the new testament history of the world. Today, and for the past several years or so, everywhere you look there's always more "new ministries" and "moves of the Spirit" popping up as never before...
"Evangelicals and Catholics along with Mormons are coming together"; "Promise Keepers";
"The Laughing Revival"; "Christian Psychology"; "New Evangelicals are everywhere despising God's word"; " Christian Scholars out to prove the KJV Bible contains significant errors"; "The Signs and Wonder
Craze"; "The Drive towards love and unity at the price of truth"; "March for Jesus"; "The Drive towards AD 2,000"; "Later day apostles and prophets claiming to have "new" revelations from
God"; "Taking this world for Christ ala Manifest sons doctrine"; etc. and to a tee they all seem to have this one fatal flaw in common: "They all refuse to abide in God's Revealed Truth!"
They do not hold fast to ALL of the Revealed, Complete, Written Testimony to and of
the Truth of God's Word as testified to by Jesus, the Apostles, and O.T. prophets under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit. They either twist, add to or take away from the final authority of
the Word of God.
They take what they want from the Scriptures to suit their *evil* (but they'll never believe it) purposes and throw out (by refusing to hear) clear teaching against their false doctrines.
And so, for holding fast to the sacred Word of God given once and for all to the saints, many of us are called "Idolaters" (believe it or not), who take and "make an idol" out of God's Word!
We're "Narrow Minded"! We only see black and white! Talk about calling good evil and evil good!? Amazing! If this wasn't all going to be so horrible for them it would be totally laughable.
Little do such "Apostates" realize that God's Word is holy, perfect in every way, alive, powerfully active and living in our heart; exposing ourselves as well as others who claim to be Christians (but aren't),
by the Pure Light of Revealed Truth we have received. Jesus and His words must hold "Center Stage", and will, wherever He is truly known! It is the Spirit of God bringing The Word to life in us, and,
yes, we do worship, love and idolize Him (as the Spirit empowers and enables by revealing more of Him) by obeying His Holy Words.
The man who loves Him is the man who is intent on keeping intact His words...ALL of His words (John 14:15; 23)...and if this be "Idolatry" then may God "smite us with more of it" and may we never recover for coming under (submitting ourselves to) the Holy Law of God's Word, as our only source of revealed truth.
Those who know their God know that the Holy Spirit will NEVER lead one astray, "apart" from the written word! He knows we need to test and confirm that it is indeed Him who is leading us, and He will do this using the very word He inspired. "...For that day shall not come, except there come a falling away
first..." (2 Thessalonians 2:3)
I believe the "Trigger" is about to be pulled that will start the great apostacy very soon.
The "Bullet" from the gun of the antiChrist spirit may well appear by or soon after 2,000 AD as "The Unrestrained Mystery of Iniquity (2 Thess.2:7), which will no longer remain a mystery in the face of the Beast.
Coming together under the banners of Peace and Safety, Love and Unity, the world and her apostates have already found it in their heart to work hard at "setting aside all the doctrinal differences
that had divided them in the past", in order to become "One". The year 2,000 AD is the time when many of todays false Christs, false prophets and teachers, various religious organizations, movements
and denominations, along with Christian political (activists), economical, enviromental and social groups are communicating right now towards coming together in "ECUMENICAL UNITY". In this fashion and in this
spirit they will be fast at work on the Tower of Babel.
It will be "PrimeTime" for the man of sin - the Beast - the antiChrist to be revealed, to finish where they left off. He will come and devour them, setting up his kingdom and causing them to worship him as God.
(This will be their final epitaph: the outward proof that they were always inwardly/spiritually dead, void of the truth after all.)
We are seeing and have been seeing that "Great Apostacy" and "Massive Falling Away" occuring daily right before our very eyes. This is THE "Falling Away" from the faith - of no longer holding fast to (and
even fighting vigorously against) the Revealed Truth once and for all delivered to the saints. This is not your " normal falling away" that has been going on from day one - NO - This is a "massive falling
away" on a scale never seen before. And, to me, the amazing thing about it is that these are supposed to be "Christians". I know all this and yet I still stand amazed. They seem to look like Christians,
walk and talk like Christians, yet they refuse to respond to clear doctrine.
What kind of Christian is it that refuses to respond to clear doctrine, and will even oppose you over it? I would expect that from a Mormon or JW, but not a Christian. What kind of Christian downplays the word of God? What kind of Christian tries to "improve" the word of God by removing many references to Christ's diety, resurrection and ascention into glory from the KJV all the while claiming to be "Bible scholars" using new/older/better (i.e. "corrupted"!) texts?
Let's set the record straight: An Apostate isn't just someone who once believed in and then fell away from believing in Christ's diety and/or His finished and saving work on the cross - NO - the true definition of an apostate is a person who professes to be a Christian, and even started out right, but now deliberately rejects revealed truth! 2 Timothy 4:3, 4; cf Heb.6:4-6 and 2 Peter 2:20-23 Perhaps he doesn't reject ALL revealed truth but enough to prove that he has little respect and reverance for the pure word of God.
Let's set it straight again: There is no difference between God and His word! Both are holy! Remove one and you remove the other. Love one and you love the other. What we do with and how we hold the word determines what we did with and how we held Jesus Christ, The Word! - John 14:23. Hold the word loosely and the Author of it will slip through your fingers.
"IF" you laid hold of Him with all your heart, then with all your mind you will lay hold of His word
as well...and continue on in that way!
It is "The Truth" and whether or not one is found "adhearing to it" (by observing them and/or by hearing their doctrine - what they believe - and weighing it against the word of God), that distinguishes
the true believer from every counterfeit and every apostate every time. Only those who "Love" the Truth are those who also "hear and do" the Truth! There are no exceptions!
Only those who obey the truth (in word and deed) out of love to the God of Truth are those
who are made of the right metal. Forget the gift of tongues and prophecy, experience and anything else, for the one true and absolute proof of being born again and fashioned of the right stuff (in the refiners
fire) is: "Adhearance to God's word". Nothing more, nothing less!
They prove by this that they know Him indeed, and that their doctrine IS the one true doctrine indeed, because they obey - stay within the confines and gravity of His word. Here is the true test! This will
tell you which "spirit" (i.e. the Spirit of Truth or the spirit of error) the man is hearing/speaking from and where he gets his knowledge from, for it will "reveal his source" like nothing else can.
Metal sharpens metal! True Christians everywhere love each other in a special and precious way the world cannot know. They have a spiritual affinity and attachment to one another and are drawn to
the living Christ in each other because they share the same "Common Bond of Faith" that makes them "Family". They know Jesus, love His word, and have a right fear of God. As Christians we all enjoy coming
together, sharing and thus sharpening up the metal we're made from with the truth. We have nothing to prove, no axe to grind, no theory to work on and spread. It's already been proven for us. It's over!
Finished! "Jesus now LIVES in us as The Resurrection and the Life, and He has given us His words to keep whole and establish as the only sound doctrine, reproof, correction and instruction of righteousness
there is.
We love Him and come to the Truth in simple faith, only wanting what God has for us...for "His" glory. To us Jesus is both The Truth and the Author of it! Therefore, those who love Him - I repeat for emphasis - "Those who love Him", and only those who love Him are those found "in Orbit Around", "Adhearing" - "Sticking" "Being glued" - "remaining Attached" to - THE LIVING VINE OF LIVING
TRUTH!.... "Sanctify them to the truth, thy word is truth".
Remember, it's not the beginning; not a hot start; not a half-hearted commitment; not our pretty leaves that will see us through to the end, but only our fruit as seen in an absolute surrender on our part
to "Line Up with and Lay Hold of God's holy and living Word" so that He alone and what He says alone becomes our center, our singular desire and our all in all. Nothing less or short of this will ever do!
He will show us His Power IF we show Him our determination to sell all and follow Him, come hell or high water! "Forgiveness of sins without holiness of person is not in God's vocabulary."
We are made holy through God's Word! We are born-again by God's Word! We are washed and bathed and cleaned by God's Word! Over and over and over again Jesus and the Apostles state bluntly that everything hinges on God's Word and whether or not we will remain in orbit around Him as our center of gravity (by heeding His words), or fly off and follow some wandering, counterfeit star instead (disguised as an angel of light).
A "Christian" is one who abides in/by the Whole Counsel of God! We will only hold the truth by what we think of the truth and the truth, in turn, will only hold us fast if we remain attached to The Vine of Truth! Those who love the Truth hold it in the most holy and highest regard, holding it high and unobstructed for all to see and hear by. The higher we hold the Truth and defend the faith the greater is our love for and
the deeper our appreciation of and to the truth. "TO THOSE WHO HAVE (and use what they have), EVEN MORE WILL BE GIVEN TO THEM. But to those who have not, even what they have will be taken away!" (Matthew 13:12)
If we later reject clear doctrine vital to our eternal well being that we had once adheared to then we can be considered apostates. If we say, "That Scripture doesn't mean that", when in fact it clearly
and simply means exactly that then we are not holding fast the truth, and have fallen away from the faith. (More on this later.) It was for this very thing God had cut Israel off: "Apostacy"! But those who love the truth come to the light...they come to the light because they are born of the truth, proving they are of the Light! They love the Light! A Christian comes to God's word to be taught true doctrine...to
be reprimanded if need be...to be corrected if found in error...and for instruction in righteousness.
It's because they love the truth and aren't afraid of God's two-edged sword that they come to the light
of God's word in this proper posture of yielding all they have to the Light for a thorough exam. They have need of God to prune those suckers of pride, and that dead wood of self-centeredness from their
growth and spiritual development; and this is not pleasant (to say the least). So they don't come (as others do) for their own gain - NO - rather they come for their own "loss", dying to self daily so that God alone may have pre-eminence in them to further His own glory and purpose.
Please understand: "When a Christian is found in error - any error - and he is confronted with the truth of God's word against his error, he will repent!" "IF" he is a true Christian, then sooner than later,
he must come to the Light and examine his error in the truth of God's word and repent. He will not fight against clearly revealed truth as so many other rebels do today, but will YIELD to it fully, proving
he is indeed in "Submission" to God's word.
"May God alone be true and every man a liar!" They are liars who have forsaken the way of truth for the lie. They bear "False Witness of The Truth"! That's why those who are not of the truth
do not come to the light and will not face the truth, because it would prove that their deeds were evil and being done in the darkness apart from God's word. They can't tolerate that kind of knowledge and exposure
so they remain deep in darkness avoiding contact with the Light. For it would "kill them".
But a bona fide Christian can bear it, and will bear it gladly, for they have already been "slain" by the
Word of God! They have no piper-pipe of their own to play, or band to lead, or a following to feel important by. All they have is Jesus, and all they want is total adhearance to Him by keeping His words
pure and intact, just as they were once and for all delivered to the saints. Jesus makes it absolutely clear and certain that those who love Him are those who prove it by keeping His words! Keeping His
words! Not just "some" of His words, or pick and choose what we like and don't like, or twist to suit some pet theory, but all of them!***
"And I will bring the third part through the fire, and will refine them as silver is refined, and will try them as gold is tried: they shall call on my name, and I will hear them: I will say, It is my people; and they shall say, The Lord is my God."

The difference between THE FLESH and THE SPIRIT
It should be noted that if Adam had never sinned (disobeyed God) he could have lived forever in paradise with God. By this we know that "sin" is a fallen-condition produced in the the human spirit and is revealed as such whenever a sin is committed.
There is nothing at a mans disposal, nothing a man can do to overcome his fallen-condition and walk with God again. His sin (disobedience to God) kicked mankind out of paradise in order that he not live in paradise forever with his sin (rebellion against God). When Adam fell (i.e. became separated from God) all men fell and became "Flesh" (which is contrary to the Spirit).
In the Garden Adam (the representative of his race) could be considered a "Neutral Person", who was made a living soul. He was never... "Tested". Then God put him to the test: "Thou shalt not"! He failed! It was then that Adam revealed a "new" nature, which is a "sin" nature, one that showed his defiance and rebellion against God, and one that has hidden the "Spiritual knowledge of God" from his view (and ours who follow him) forever.
1 Corinthians 15:45-47 And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit.
QUESTION: "When one becomes a Christian has the OLD MAN (who we are in Adam) been eradicated, or not?"
This is a very important question and it is one that the Scriptures can answer.
The Scriptures contain the Doctrine of Two Men! The first man who is represented by the first man (Adam), and the second man who is represented by Christ. (1 Cor.15:45-47)
They also contain the Doctrine of Two Positions! The first position represents "Death" because of sin, and the second position represents "Life" because of righteousness. (Romans 6:1-10)
To put it simply, either a man is IN Christ ( and therefore "Born Again") and is in the position of life, OR a man is Not in or of Christ (but born once of the flesh, of Adam only) and therefore remains in the position of death!
So when the First Man (Adam) sinned he died Positionally! He died to God in every way, body, soul and spirit. Once he died "Positionally" before God he began to die experientially on this earth as well. Not only was he dead "Positionally Speaking" before God, but his body (as well as ours) began to decay and die as well!
What needs to be understood is not the workings of the man born once, but of the man born twice!
Why does the Christian DIE? This seems a great paradox!? If we are (positionally speaking) now IN Christ, then our sins have been forgiven and before God we are just as if we have never sinned. (Again, all thanks to Christ!) So what is going on? If Christ has paid for all of our sins then why does the Christian still die?
The most important thing to remember is that God is DONE, FINISHED with this world and its kingdoms! Because of sin none of it is worth saving and He is letting it all run down. He is on a mission to usher in a new age, one who's inhabitants have eternal life and who obey Him on earth as they do in heaven and who walk with and honor Him in Spirit and in Truth (as He is).
This means that He is not interested in making the earth (this present age) paradise any longer. The evidence is clear. Because of sin this world, along with our bodies (Christian and non-Christian alike) are decaying and dying. He is after a New Man and a New World, one where righteousness reigns! When the time comes for this New world to happen it will mark the end of this present age.
Once one is Born Again of God, positionally speaking, they are taken and placed, body, soul and spirit into The Second Adam (who is Christ). In Him is Life Eternal. But at this present time Eternal Life only applies to our soul and spirit. The body (in its present state) cannot inherit the promises of God at this time, because in this life, in this world, "SIN" is still present and still at work.
In this world (or "age") there is no escape from "Physical Death" for any of us, except by the return of Christ! Remember too that this present body of flesh we're living in is Not placed Positionally in Christ (along with our souls and spirits), but it is Actual, meaning it will die some day, as everything does in this world. Everything else is "spiritual", including our bodies When we receive our New body at Christ's coming.
Through faith in Christ there is promised escape from soul and spiritual death (i.e. "separation from God"), but nothing is promised to preserve our body from death and decay in this life. We await our New bodies at the ushering in of the new age (when death has been destroyed) because (as Paul says)...
Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither does corruption inherit incorruption. Behold, I show you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory. O death, where is your sting? O grave, where is your victory? The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law. But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. 1 Corinthians 15:50-57
That we should receive NEW bodies at Christ's visible appearance is founded upon the "Hope of the Gospel"... Read Romans 8:19-25.
It should also be noted that the Scriptures say that, "The sting of death (that which gives it its hurt) is sin, and the strength of sin is the law". This means that where there is no death because of sin there is no sting or hurt because of it. Our faith in Christ has ended our "Spiritual Death" or "Old, Sinful Position" before God. Now we know that the Scriptures say that the just shall walk by faith and not by sight (2 Cor. 5:4-8), therefore "The Sting" of death applies to ones soul and/or spirit, not their bodies.
To prove the Scriptures are true in this case let's take a look at Hebrews 9:28 and Acts 7:59-60...
So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.
And they stoned Stephen, calling upon God, and saying, Lord Jesus, receive my spirit. And he kneeled down, and cried with a loud voice, Lord, lay not this sin to their charge. And when he had said this, he fell asleep.
This doesn't mean that Stephen in his body didn't feel any pain or sting as they were stoning him, it means that he "died" (fell asleep) after they had done so. One thing for sure, he wouldn't have to experience the hurt and the power of death that others experience when they die in their sins. The time of Stephen's death is when the position he stood on by faith became real, and he entered and experienced paradise as a new creation in God.
The scriptures also say that the strength of sin (that which gives sin its power) is the law. The emphasis of all of this is to prove that where there is no law there is no sin thus no guilt of sin, therefore there is no power. Let's look at what happened when this "Power or Strength of sin" appeared inside of Paul...
What shall we say then? is the law sin? God forbid. Nay, I had not known sin, but by the law: for I had not known lust, except the law had said, you shall not covet. But sin, taking occasion by the commandment, worked in me all manner of covetousness. For without the law sin was dead. For I was alive apart from the law once: but when the commandment came, sin revived, and I died. And the commandment, which was ordained to life, I found to be unto death. For sin, taking occasion by the commandment, deceived me, and by it slew me. Therefore the law is holy, and the commandment holy, and just, and good. Romans 7:7-12
And so "sin" is made extra powerful because of the law. In Paul's case it was the law that said: "Thou shalt not covet" that made his his sin strong as death.
Again look at the Scriptures! They say that without the law there is no sin! So does that mean that if God hadn't given the law there would be no sin??? No!!! It means that without the law there would be no knowledge of sin! But God did give man the law. He gave the law to Adam in Eden (of this tree thou shalt not eat), and He gave it to the Jews via Moses. He did not give the law to save anyone who tried to obey it, rather He gave the law in order to put men under the condemnation of it whenever they broke it! There is no mercy in the law.
To the Christian the Scriptures say:
For I through the law am dead to the law, that I might live unto God. I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ lives in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me. I do not nullify the grace of God: for if righteousness comes by the law, then Christ is dead in vain. Galatians 2:19-21
Again Paul is speaking "Positionally" in Christ. On the one hand he is dead - he is crucified with Christ - he is dead to the law and its power. This "Death" can only be reckoned "Positionally Speaking", by understanding thus reckoning oneself as being dead to the law but alive unto Christ. And yet he lives - Why? - because Christ now lives in him".
A man cannot serve both the law and God. The law was given to expose sin and give strength to death, while God is given to reveal himself in His Grace and Glory. "Once the law was alive and had done its job and slew me, so that the righteousness of Christ (that comes only by faith and not by doing the works of the law) would raise me from the dead", says Paul.
The only way to escape the influences of our "sinful nature", "flesh", "Old Man", is to escape from this body of flesh we live in. To die!
"Positionally speaking, IN Christ man is perfect". But "Conditionally in himself" he is a sinner. Outside of Christ the man of flesh (i.e. the man born once of the first Adam only) remains a sinner through and through.
But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members. O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this death? I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord. So then with the mind I myself serve the law of God; but with the flesh the law of sin. Romans 7:23-25
Paul understood the relationship between the Spirit and the flesh. He knew the war and struggle that was constantly going on inside him, vying for his affections! Yet this same Paul had also written Romans 6, and earlier verses of chapter 7....
Likewise reckon you also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord. Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that you should obey it in its lusts. Neither yield your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God. For sin shall not have dominion over you: for you are not under the law, but under grace. Romans 6:11-14
Wherefore, my brethren, ye also are become dead to the law by the body of Christ; that ye should be married to another, even to him who is raised from the dead, that we should bring forth fruit unto God.
Paul had been crucified with Christ and he knew it! All that was left was for him to keep on reckoning it so. Paul was no longer a helpless bond-slave to sin, thanks to God crucifying him with Christ, so that he (the new man) should no longer be a slave to sin any longer, doing its bidding....
Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that we should no longer serve sin. For he that is dead is freed from sin. Romans 6:6-7
Lie not one to another, seeing that you have put off the old man with his deeds; And have put on the new man, that is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him: Colossians 3:9-10
There is an Either, Or here! Either "you" have been crucified with Christ Or you haven't! Either you are still serving sin - Still practicing it? OR you have been renewed in the knowledge of God? Which?
So what about your "Old Man"? Do you claim to be sinless, without sin? Has your Old Man been eradicated or not? POSITIONALLY SPEAKING (i.e. the way that God sees us, IN Christ)? - He is a New Man, thus he is without sin (1 John 3:9). But, CONDITIONALLY SPEAKING? - (i.e. the way that we see ourselves) Well... you tell me! (1 John 1:8)
In other words --- In our being put to death with Christ and Born Again in Him, there has been a POWER change! So much so that if you claim to be a New Creation IN Christ then serve Him and not sin. (Either, Or!)
Howbeit that was not first which is spiritual, but that which is natural; and afterward that which is spiritual.
The first man is of the earth, earthy: the second man is the Lord from heaven.
This was the inevitable outcome of his Position of death. His "sin" had cut him off from God's righteousness, and because we (the whole human race) were in his genes, we too have inherited his fallen nature by birth, only to die positionally just as Adam had.
For when we were in the flesh, the motions of sins, which were by the law, did work in our members to bring forth fruit unto death.
But now we are delivered from the law, that being dead wherein we were held; that we should serve in newness of spirit, and not in the oldness of the letter. Romans 7:4-6
ONCE SAVED ALWAYS SAVED???
In Matthew 13:18 ff Jesus is privately revealing to His disciples the parable of the sower, which
speaks of "4" types of soils/hearts....
Matt 13:
Now ask yourself....
Question #1. Is "The word of the Kingdom (v.19)" the Gospel of Jesus Christ??? Yes - No
Question #2. Is one "Justified/Saved" through the hearing and believing of the Gospel??? Yes -
No
Question #3A. Is "Justification by faith" an "ongoing process" (like sanctification is)??? Yes - No
Question #3B. Then is one "Justified" the moment one hears and believes??? Yes - No
Question #4. ('Both' the stony place and thorny place people "heard and gladly received" the
word: "Rom 10:17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.") Did they
have faith - were they justified??? Yes - No
Question #5. Do you believe what the Scriptures say about apostacy - perhaps as those who
(represent the stony and thorny places - "if" they don't go on to bear good fruit) and who can
then later fall away from the faith??? Yes - No
Question #6. Is "bearing fruit" a process (like "sanctification") or is it instantaneous when one
first believes??? Yes - No
and finally, after you've answered all of the above....
Question #7. (Jesus says (v.23) that the only "good" ground is he who both "hears and
understands" the word (going on to "obey it"), and goes on to produce good fruit.) Can one
therefore, "Not Understand" the word, "Not bear any fruit" and yet be OSAS saved/justified by
the mere "Hearing and Believing" of It, without also "Obeying It as well"??? Yes - No
Question #8. Does that mean if we "DON'T" go on hearing it and keep on obeying it after we've
rightly understood it (Jn.13:17), and/or before we bear any good fruit (Mt.3:10), that we are in
danger of falling away??? Yes - No
If you said "YES" then stony and thorny are "apostates", because they didn't go on to join their
justified faith with their sanctified truth!
If you said "NO" then you are OSAS, denying that continued obedience and good fruit "ON OUR
PART", enduring to the end (whatever that 'end' may be), are totally unnecessary to enter the
Kingdom, if one has "faith alone"!
(Stony and Thorny had faith "alone" too!
However, having "OUTWARD faith in a crucified Savior": WHICH IS WHAT 'JUSTIFICATION' IS...,
yet WITHOUT our having and doing the necessary "INWARD faith of that same Savior: the
resurrected Lord": WHICH IS WHAT 'SANCTIFICATION' IS: is dead... being alone... made null
and void!)
Rom 10:10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession
is made unto salvation.
It is with the "heart" that a man "believes" in order to become "Righteous/Justified", and it is
with this same "heart" that a man "obeys" in order to go on being "Righteous/Sanctified"!
The faith that contains justification + sanctification ("in being saved from as well as saved to")
is the ONLY kind (being joined together and alive inside) that will save anyone!!!
Matt 10:22 ...but he that endureth to the end shall be saved.
OSAS??? I think not! I say this because there are way too many sinners out there who think that they can draw themselves to the Father and the Son by something that "they" can do, thus save themselves, only to continue in sin.
Thank you for your time and reflections in these matters of the "faith". :-)
May you walk in the wholesome fear of God, and may God greatly and deeply bless you in "your
understanding of these things"...for it is time for us to teach the others...
18 Hear ye therefore the parable of the sower.
19 When any one heareth the word of the kingdom, and understandeth it not, then cometh the
wicked one, and catcheth away that which was sown in his heart. This is he which received
seed by the way side.
20 But he that received the seed into stony places, the same is he that heareth the word, and
anon with joy receiveth it;
21 Yet hath he not root in himself, but dureth for a while: for when tribulation or persecution
ariseth because of the word, by and by he is offended.
22 He also that received seed among the thorns is he that heareth the word; and the care of
this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, choke the word, and he becometh unfruitful.
23 But he that received seed into the good ground is he that heareth the word, and
understandeth it; which also beareth fruit, and bringeth forth, some an hundredfold, some sixty,
some thirty.
A WARNING AGAINST CALVINS TULIP DOCTRINE!
I can't even begin to state how many scriptures there are that say that God sent His Son into the world as payment for EVERYONE'S sins. THIS IS THE GOOD NEWS OF THE GOSPEL! IT'S GOOD NEWS FOR EVERY MAN! It matters not whether the individual believes this or not - because it doesn't change The Message of what His Son did at all!!!
The Calvinists have changed many of the words; thus meanings of God, to say what He does not say whereby they deceive themselves and others who listen to them in saying what they want to hear what they say. The main sin against Calvinism (and it's a Whopper!) is that it both opposes and destroys The One True Gospel, by insisting that Jesus DID NOT - I repeat for effect: DID NOT come in order to save and pay for the sins of the world, but only came to save the likes of them: His elect Only. Thus we have a FALSE Gospel presenting a FALSE Christ! So this is NOT a war between Calvinism and Armenianism, but against Calvinists and God; against WHO Jesus really is and what His mission was!
Because Calvinists have chosen to believe that only God and His power is of any consequence in matters of salvation, they believe that their opponents ("everyone who disagrees with them") have chosen man and his power of free will over God. By taking this viewpoint, Calvinists (in being blinded by the truth) make a MAJOR blunder by throwing the entire dispute into an either one OR the other scenario.
Let us refer to this scenario of theirs as being the First Logical Fallacy (an error in reasoning), in which can be called, a "Fallacy of Distraction" which comes when a Calvinist presents a False Dilemma, one where only two choices are given when in fact there are other possible options.
Calvin and his followers teach the TULIP doctrine; and like the creators of all fallacies, they are experts at distracting ones attention away from what God means and says in His word into something other. This is intentional. They do this by using certain scriptures to try and prove what God says all the while rejecting and changing the rest of what God says against their doctrine in order to emphasize their belief alone as being the ONLY truth there is. They do so by claiming to have "special revelation or a type of hidden knowledge"; that the rest of us who know Christ personally, but believe differently, don't have! "MARK THIS, because this is what ALL false teachers who profess to know Christ do!"
In the case of the TULIP doctrine, this fallacy occures when only one of two options - the "EITHER/OR" scenario - is given by Calvinists, while in reality there are more options that also must be considered. A false dilemma occurs when one uses the illegitimate use of the "OR" operator. If you listen only to their viewpoint then that leaves you holding one or the other of these two options that are opened to you ("Either God OR man" - no other options or outcomes are given nor possible in their viewpoint).
In order to maintain the integrity of the word of God in this case, you must maintain a third option, the one where the Bible clearly teaches that both God and man play a role in determining who will be saved! Calvinists presume that only one party, either God OR man (but not both) can determine who is saved. Therefore; according to TULIP Calvinists, both scenarios can't be right!
So, because they claim; in the most educated of ways (like the scribes before them) to have found proof in the Bible that God plays a role in determining who would be saved and who would be lost and why, they have come to conclude that man has no part in determining the outcome and throw out and change anything they find in the Bible that says that man is also responsible in determining his salvation, and say point blank: >U>that's not what it means.
The Second Logical Fallacy that Calvinism makes is called "Complex Cause". This fallacy occurs when ONE factor is assumed to be the ONLY factor causing a particular effect when in reality there is more than one factor responsible for that effect.
Now the Bible contains many scriptures (for example) on God's role in determining who will be saved. Calvinists look at these passages and correctly identify God as a cause for WHO will be saved. However, where they err is by assuming that God is the ONLY cause there is. Therefore, they set about the task of changing, throwing out and negating the vast number of passages describing the role that a man plays in determining his salvation, and reduce men to nothing more than a zombie, a puppet without choice, who's decision or will, one way or the other, just doesn't matter.
Calvinists commit the fallacy of Complex Cause by assuming that the factor they have found ("the one where God is the ONLY determining factor") therefore it becomes the ONLY factor worth searching for and finding in the Bible. Therefore, Calvinists throw out, overlook and resist the possibility that there is a Complex Cause with more than one factors, namely the factor that BOTH God and man play a part in determining who will be saved.
Calvinists assume that because God determined who would be saved (they call this - "The Elect") before man ever made any choice, that he did it without regard for man's choices. They assume that because man's choices came AFTER God's choice of making certain men His Elect, that they were not a factor in the decision man made, but it was all strictly God's decision made before the foundations of the world.
God, in His foreknowledge simply knew beforehand WHO would be coming to Him. But Calvinists made it into a Power play that because God knew who would and who wouldn't be saved before any man even made any choice, He did so according to his foreknowledge. However, if God was employing His foreknowledge in the process of making this decision that means He was taking into consideration future events that had not yet happened.
In other words the Calvinists are saying that God made this determination of WHO ahead of time; not because He was not taking into account men's choices or manipulating them to be either saved or lost, as Calvinists believe, but in order to glorify himself by displaying His omniscience and love for ALL men through His foreknowledge, as it is written.
By making the assumption (against the scriptures) that God only loves a few men and that only (according to their understanding) a few men benefit from His death, then what the Calvinists have done, is to commit a Third Logical Fallacy known as "Wrong Direction". Calvinists assume that a man's acceptance or rejection of God is soley determined by God's selection of him even before time began.
It is important that we understand that it was God's selection of individuals beforehand (Him having the foreknowledge of who would and who wouldn't be saved by coming to Him) that was made because of man's (not God's) future rejection or acceptance of Him. Therefore, the Calvinists have Reversed the cause and effect relationship thus committing a third logical fallacy, the fallacy of Wrong Direction.
Therefore, because of their "Either/Or" mentality, they ignore the third option, that BOTH God and man play a part in the salvation process as the scriptures verify. And so Calvinists commit the logical fallacy of presenting a False Dilemma.
It is imperative that we understand and take apart using the word of God the five points of Calvinism, or "Calvin's T.U.L.I.P. doctrine". It is about as false and evil a doctrine as there ever was, because it professes itself to be of the Christian faith! What should be understood is the way that ALL die-hard T.U.L.I.P. Calvinists Reject a Very Clear word of God (as if God is incapable of speaking for Himself!) and say that's not what it means. (WHY do they do this? "Because it opposes their doctrine!")
They claim that Only T.U.L.I.P. Calvinists can know and understand (like the Gnostics of old had also claimed) the real meaning of the scriptures, because, they say, they alone have been given the light necessary to understand the scriptures, while the rest of us can't possibly know their meaning because it was given in parables. They then proceed to tell us (hell bound Zombies) what it means and where we're going, while they matter-of-factly reject and throw out the whole counsel of God's teaching on the subject.
For instance, when the word of God says that Jesus died for "ALL" Men (=UNlimited Atonement), they say that's not what it means, and then change it to (=Limited Atonement) in order to always make it fit their T.U.L.I.P. doctrine and themselves exclusively.
Understand: ALL False Teachers work off this very same principal! Here is what T.U.L.I.P. Calvinists believe....
T.U.L.I.P.
T = Total Depravity.
U = Unconditional Election.
L = Limited Atonement.
I = Irresistible Grace.
P = Perseverance of the Saints.
According to the T - Doctrine most all Calvinists believe that a man is born so Totally Depraved that he can do nothing on his own to seek God and that his will is powerless and worthless to play any role in saving him. They believe that man is so sin-sickened and has become so blinded to the truth that he is totally without power to come to God and ask forgiveness or even know deep-down that he needs forgiveness for his sins. HOWEVER - Many of their own members object to Total Inherited Depravity (because they think babies are born innocent and do not want to so view their babies as being born with total Adamic/sinful, separated from God natures, and they have hope for them if they should die in infancy, [usually if they haven't as yet been water baptized].)
Over and over in the Bible we hear The Gospel tell us that we need to be forgiven of sins before we die and face God! That is precisely why some churches have taken the Light they found in the Gospel but have decided to take it upon themselves instead (rather than Christ's once for all sacrifice of Himself) to deal with the sin issue and have given it over to the only power they know ("their flesh") to try and appease God with!
The T - Doctrine says that fallen man has absolutely no light in him (meaning the Light that comes from hearing the Gospel) to enable him and give him enough of an ability to reach out to God to save him, let alone know that he even needs saving (and we know this isn't true - John 1:9). So they made a doctrine (a law of God) out of it and called it "T" for Total Depravity, and those who believe this doctrine believe that "No one" can ever be saved unless God Himself takes the initiative and chooses to save them, and will, but only "IF" they are His elect. But the rest who disagree (and who aren't His elect) won't be saved! (Little do they seem to believe that God already took the initiative through His Son Jesus Christ, as He said repeatedly.)
The truth is that man is depraved, yes, but he is not totally depraved so as to be totally unable to hear the Gospel and save himself through hearing it, as Calvinists want us to believe. Understand - God gives us enough light in the Gospel in order to bring us to the foot of the Cross, as well as to be held accountable for our actions. We are not mindless Zombies!
Calvins way concerns man as being no more than a Mindless Zombie and Vegetable who has absolutely no power or say in the matters of their own salvation. They act as though the word of God was never written for them. They believe that only the Calvinists and they alone are the "Elect of God" (through having no say or choice of their own) and that everyone else, who refuses to believe this doctrine is in danger of hell.
They say that the CHOICE to enter heaven or hell is not up to them (because they say a mans choice is worthless - thus conveniently claim a total lack of responsibility by claiming that THEY couldn't help what "God" [and not "them"] did), but that it was all up to God instead, by making sure that men are manipulated like puppets by Him (behind the scenes) to either come or turn their backs because of His previous foreknowledge of them! This is nothing more than calling God the author of sin! Thus Calvinists believe that they are saved even before they are made to realize they need to be saved!
Now hear God's word against the T doctrine --
Hebrews 4:6-7 Seeing therefore it remaineth that some must enter therein, and they to whom it was first preached (the Jews) entered not in because of unbelief:
John 12:46 I am come a light into the world, that whosoever believeth on me should not abide in darkness.
John 3:15-16 That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.
John 1:6-9 There was a man sent from God, whose name was John.
John 8:12 Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the Light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the Light of life.
Again, he limiteth a certain day, saying in David, To day, after so long a time; as it is said, To day if ye will hear his voice, harden not your hearts.
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
The same came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all men through him might believe.
He was not that Light, but was sent to bear witness of that Light.
That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world.
So we see how the T - Doctrine which stands for Total Depravity opposes the power of the Gospel as well as wants to rob us of our capability to believe at all. But we know by the scriptures that Christ is the Light of the world, therefore whosoever believes on Him will be saved!
According to their U - Doctrine most all Calvanists believe that God elects individuals to salvation based entirely on His will alone, not on anything inherent in the individual. In other words, what this false doctrine is saying is that man has no will or say of his own, and that God does as He pleases, saving some, destroying others. This false doctrine makes man nothing more than a Mindless Zombie and Pawn in some Game of Salvation that their god, the Puppet Master, has invented to appease his ego!
The truth is that the word of God clearly states that Jesus died for ALL MEN; and didn't die for just the Calvinists only, but for Everyone. God has made Him both Lord and Christ (Acts 2:36). There IS a Condition - only one... (John 3:18) His death is not effectual, or doesn't count for salvation/rughteousness until that person believes. Now hear God's word against the U doctrine --
2 Peter 3:9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, NOT WILLING that ANY should perish, but that ALL should come to repentance.
Ezekiel 18:23 Have I any pleasure at all that the wicked should die? saith the Lord GOD: and not that he should return from his ways, and live?
1 Timothy 2:3-4 For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour;
1 John 5:12 He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.
Romans 10:11 For the scripture saith, WHOSOEVER believeth on him shall not be ashamed.
Romans 10:13 For WHOSOEVER shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.
So we see that it is God's will for ALL MEN to be saved, and He placed upon our salvation One Condition: "That we believe on the Son". Salvation is based on this condition of God's!
According to their L - Doctrine most all Calvanists believe that Jesus limited His death to save the elect only. Calvinists say He did not die for ALL MEN, but only for the elect - meaning "themselves". However, since all men are sinners, then He came and paid the price FOR ALL MEN FOR ALL TIME! Calvinist's lessen the ransom paid in full by Christ, stating that it wasn't paid for the world but only for a chosen few! You can see by now the domino effect that the TULIP doctrine has taken upon itself to defend itself against what God says. If one goes they all go!
The truth is that the word of God clearly states that Jesus just didn't die to save the elect only but died in order to make it possible for ALL MEN to be saved. Now hear God's word against the L doctrine --
Acts 17:30-31 And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent:
Hebrews 2:9 But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour; that he by the grace of God should taste death for EVERY man.
2 Corinthians 5:14-15 For the love of Christ constraineth us; because we thus judge, that if one died for ALL, then were all dead:
1 Timothy 2:4 Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.
1 John 2:2 And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.
Because he hath appointed a day, in the which he will judge the world in righteousness by that man whom he hath ordained; whereof he hath given assurance unto all men, in that he hath raised him from the dead.
And that he died for all, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto him which died for them, and rose again.
1 Timothy 2:6 Who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time.
So we see how the Limited Atonement Doctrine is actually one that teaches another gospel by despising the blood that Christ shed once and for all for ALL MEN! He Himself is The Way in which a man can be saved - through faith in Him alone! Nevertheless, He died as the payment for ALL Men - for ALL Sinners - whether all men believe on Him or not is up to them! Surely you can see how evil and blasphemous Calvins doctrine of Limited Atonement really is??
According to their I - Doctrine most all Calvanists believe that it is impossible to resist God's Grace. This is another Zombie doctrine in that they believe that a man under Irresistable Grace will come to faith in Christ and find it impossible to resist God's Grace, and inevitably come to salvation. This is one of the biggest lies ever against the truth, and destroys a mans free will to freely choose whom to obey and serve. Again, the man is reduced to nothing more than a Mindless Zombie, a Pawn in the game of God, believing that Calvinists are without choice and therefore can never reject the call of God!
The truth is that anyone can resist His call! Everyone has a choice! Although Calvinists say that those who do so (and call them: "Arminian Freewillers") never had the Calvinist mind set anyway, and state that only Calvinists will heed the call, is because of a totally false premise they have set up, namely that God's Grace is Irresistable. Now hear God's word against the I doctrine --
Joshua 24:15 And if it seem evil unto you to serve the Lord, CHOOSE you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.
Deuteronomy 30:19 I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore CHOOSE life, that both thou and thy seed may live:
Romans 3:23-26 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;
Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:
Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God;
To declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus.
So we see that the I - Doctrine which stands for Irresistable Grace isn't "Irresistable" at all. That's because although God did all the work necessary to save us soul-wise at the cross; spirit-wise upon our reception of the Holy Spirit in the New Birth; and body-wise at His second coming, He will not take away or over-ride or short-circuit our free wills in order to cooperate with Him in order for us to walk after the Spirit.
According to their P - Doctrine most all Calvinists believe that they can never fall away. They believe this because they are like dead Zombies whose will has been replaced by God's Irresistable Grace, actually believing that they have no say in their own salvation!
The truth is that the word of God has much to say concerning Perserverance. They believe they're O.S.A.S. (Once Saved Always Saved) and therefore they can't ever be unsaved! That means they can kill, rob, cheat and lie without fear of penalty. Hear what God says against such hypocrisy --
2 Peter 2:22 But it is happened unto them according to the true proverb, The dog is turned to his own vomit again; and the sow that was washed to her wallowing in the mire.
Hebrews 10:26 For if we sin wilfully AFTER that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins,
Hebrews 10:38-39 Now the just shall live by faith: but IF any man DRAW BACK, my soul shall have no pleasure in him.
Hebrews 3:6 But Christ as a son over his own house; whose house are we, IF we hold fast the confidence and the rejoicing of the hope firm unto the end.
Hebrews 3:12-14 Take heed, BRETHREN, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief, IN DEPARTING FROM THE LIVING GOD.
Hebrews 4:1 Let us therefore fear, lest, a promise being left us of entering into his rest, any of you should seem to COME SHORT OF IT.
Hebrews 4:8-11 For if Jesus had given them rest, then would he not afterward have spoken of another day.
2 John 1:8 Look to yourselves, that we lose not those things which we have wrought, but that we receive a full reward. 1:9 Whosoever transgresseth, and ABIDETH NOT in the doctrine of Christ, HATH NOT GOD. HE THAT ABIDETH in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son.
But we are not of them who draw back unto perdition; but of them that believe to the saving of the soul.
But exhort one another daily, while it is called To day; lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin.
For we are made partakers of Christ, IF we hold the beginning of our confidence stedfast UNTO THE END;
There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God.
For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from his. Let us labour therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man FALL after the same example of unbelief.
Have you asked yourself why any of these are even written if the Christian automatically perserveres to the end as Calvinists believe??? Think about it!!! Like the rest of their doctrine, It's a no-brainer!
Throughout my entire website I have warned over and over of how important it is to stand on the word of God as it is. I said how the false prophets and teachers change the word to mean something else, and they do this by adding to it or eliminating a word or two from it, in order to change its meaning to suit the false doctrine. This is how they operate, because they do not know God they have no fear of Lording it over the word of God by taking and changing His word to suit theirs.
Calvinism is one of the greatest sins there ever was against God because it rejects The Gospel: God's purpose and reason for Him sending His Son into the world in the first place - in order to die for all, paying the price for all sins. Now there remains no excuse: John 6:29 Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent.
John 7:16-17 Jesus answered them, and said, My doctrine is not mine, but his that sent me.
If any man will do his will, he shall know of the doctrine, whether it be of God, or whether I speak of myself.
TEST THE SPIRITS!
In all walks of life there's the genuine article and the phony; the real and the look alike. In gems we have the diamond and the imitation zircon. In money we have the true and the counterfeit. In Christianity we have the wheat and the tare. The expert in his field of expertise is able to tell the real object from the fake one, because he knows and has handled and examined the real one enough to tell it apart from any imitation. There's always a true hidden perfection and beauty in the genuine article that's lacking in the counterfeit.(Mt.13:46)
There are 3 (Spiritual) Tests that are able to Distinguish and Seperate ("Cull out") the tares from the wheat....
1 - The tares have yet to do the will of God! (Mt.7:21)....
"They may talk about Christ as if they do what He says and know Him personally [yet He doesn't know them! Mt.7:15]. They may hold several religious titles, PhD, seminary and DvD degrees [He's not one bit impressed! Ph.3:7]. They may say and do many things in His name [He's heard it all before! Mt.7:22]. But, do they really and truly only hear/obey/follow His voice? Are they really His? Do they really Know Him?
That's the bottom line: "Do they know Him? Does He know them? Do they (because they love Him) do what He tells them to - and that right from the heart?"
Many believe themselves to be rich and in need of nothing but they are completely poverty stricken concerning spiritual things! They have no gold tried by fire, or white raiment to cover their shame, or eyesalve with which to see. But they love their riches: a life of importance, position, power, and a love of estates, wealth, pleasures, etc. far too much to give them all up! They're so full of themselves that it's far easier for a camel; as Jesus said, to slip through the eye of a needle than for
them to enter the kingdom of God through Christ."
2 - The tares no longer hear His sayings! (Mt.7:24)....
"They have spiritually closed their ears to the Word of God whenever it is not profitable to them!" They won't listen to those in the body who expose & rebuke their sins by reasoning with them using the Word of God. Their ears are shut up to the whole truth! They don't want to hear it!
Their mind is made up - their heart, settled - and their will is set against hearing! That's why they don't want to hear any negatives about their ministries or teachings!! No matter whether they promote the false doctrines of Promise
Keepers, Catholicism, "Christian" Psychology, Word of faith, Laughing Revival, Satanism, Ku-Klux-Klan, etc., etc., ALL false doctrine is False doctrine! The bottom line is: "They will not listen to revealed truth, whenever it's not profitable for them or their cause"!"
3 - The tares no longer keep His sayings (if indeed they ever did)! (Mt.7:24)....
"If they won't hear His words; whenever it doesn't profit them to, then they're not going to obey them either. Jesus said, "IF the tree is good (i.e. rooted in God's Word) so is the fruit it brings forth" (Mt.7:18). We love Him because He first loved us! And Jesus makes this all perfectly clear and simple when He says: "The man who loves me is he that keeps My words!" (Jn.14:23)
That, my friend, is the bottom line! Those who truly do love/know Him are those who are also in love with Him, keeping all of His words. These loyal sheep/disciples alone (John 10:4-5; 18:37) seek to keep pure and obey only His words, all of His words, all of the time! Those who don't know/love Him (but only pretend to) won't (Mt.21:28-32; Jn.8:44), proving that these "outward look-a-likes" are not of His sheep-fold."
If they don't know Him it's because they have never done God's will: "This is My Son, 'Hear/Obey Him'," says the Father!...."Deny yourself, Come to Me", says The Son!
They refuse to come ALL THE WAY directly to Him because that would mean that they would have to "totally surrender" to Him.
PROOVING CHRIST'S PRE-EXISTANCE AND DIVINITY
John 17:5 And now, O Father, glorify thou me with thine own self with the glory which I had with thee before the world was.
John 3:13 And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven
Col 1:
Heb 1:3 Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high;
John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
I Jn 1:1 That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, of the Word of life;
John 8:58 Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am.
16 For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:
17 And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.
Matt 4:7 Jesus said unto him, It is written again, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God.
Exactly WHO was it again that was being tempted??? "Jesus!"
Luke 1:68 Blessed be the Lord God of Israel; for he hath visited and redeemed his people,
and just WHAT was His name again that came, visited and redeemed His people??? "Jesus!"
Rev 4:8 And the four beasts had each of them six wings about him; and they were full of eyes within: and they rest not day and night, saying, Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty, which was, and is, and is to come.
WHO was it again which was, and is, and is to come??? "Jesus!"
John 20:28 And Thomas answered and said unto him, 'My Lord and my God'.
WHAT did Thomas say, and just WHAT do we call Him today???
John 1:1 ...and the Word was God.
and the WHAT was made flesh??? John 1:14
and WHAT was that name when He returns??? Rev.19:13
Beware the teachings of Oneness Pentecostals
(Beware -- Jesus told us that all it takes is a little yeast (false doctrine) to spoil the whole batch! )
There are "2 primary denials" that have been allowed to "seep" into the church today...
#1. The denial that Jesus Christ came in the flesh! ( 1 Jn.4:3; 2 Jn.1:7 - cf Jn.1; 1 Jn.1 )
#2. The denial of the doctrine of Christ, in replacing either or both the Father and the Son! ( 1 Jn.2:22; 2 Jn.1:9 - cf 1 Jn.1:3; Jn.14:23 )
So we need to be aware...
Today more than ever is the time to know and to stick with the whole counsel (word) of God!
Oneness Pentecostals believe (among other errors) that Jesus fathered himself and that he alone is the One True God going by aliases of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
To me this is a flat out denial of the Father and the Son, as Jesus taught it! 2 John 1:9
Now the Scriptures do say that: "God is One!"
Let's hear what "Jesus" has to say on this....
John 17:
NOW... ACCORDING TO THE "ONENESSES" RULE OF INTERPRETATION: THAT 'GOD AND CHRIST ARE *ONE AND THE SAME* GOD', THEN (according to their spurious teaching) THAT WOULD MEAN THAT OUR BECOMING *ONE* WITH GOD (as Jesus prayed) WOULD MAKE US ALL... "ONE GOD" (without distinction) AS WELL!!
Jesus wants us to be ONE IN each other as well as becoming ONE IN Him! And this we do by having Jesus living IN us as the Father lives IN Him and He in the Father!
1 Corinthians 8:6 But to us there is but one God, the Father, OF whom are all things, and we IN him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, BY whom are all things, and we BY him.***
The church today is allowing more and more aberrant teachings we call false doctrines within her doors, all being cleverly disguised as "Gospel Truth"!!!
One of those "aberrant teachings" comes from those who call themselves "Oneness Pentecostals".
The same Scriptures also say that: "The LORD said to my Lord..."
So what does this mean? Is He a single being consisting of one Person or is He ONE God consisting of two or more Persons who are ONE "IN" themselves???
21 That they all may be *ONE*; as thou, Father, art IN me, and I IN thee, *THAT THEY ALSO MAY BE ONE IN US*: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me.
22 And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be *ONE*, *EVEN AS WE ARE ONE*:
23 I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in *ONE*; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me.
This is a total disregard for Scriptures as John 1:1-2.

Christ was not raised in the flesh but with a spiritual body.
He wasn't a God until he attained it by obedience and devotion.
Jesus Christ was the first born of all the spirit children ever fathered by Elohim.
Christ never suffered on the cross.
Christ is considered to be one of a long line of masters.
Jesus was never God the Son or God himself.
Jesus and God are not one from the beginning.
The same Christ who lives in us also lived in Jesus.
Jesus himself was never anything more than the son of man.
Jesus was not both God and man.
He can by no means be called God Himself.
If the catholic believes that the are saved by God's grace and by their works, then they are not saved -- even if they believe their works are done by God's grace -- since they then deny the 100% sufficiency of Christ's own work: His sacrifice on the cross which paid in full for the sins of all who "believe" and believe only this (apart from any and all self-works)!
However, for the catholic "It Is -NOT- Finished!" It can't be, for if it were then they would have entered their rest, been changed into New Creations and have gone and sinned no more! Thus, as far as the whole Roman Catholicism concept goes: Jesus did not finish his saving work through the cross! His death, resurrection and ascending back into heaven and sending the Holy Spirit in order to go and sin no more and become born again; sent to those who believe on Him alone apart from works, evidently is not enough for them. That's why "a works salvation" (or trying to obey the law, keep the sacraments, etc.) is so important to them, because they believe that it is in the "doing" of these things (when added to faith) that helps them enter heaven.
Jesus is NOT the RC Savior because they believe He fell short and left some saving work undone for them to complete (i.e. purgatory for further purging of sins, saying and doing penances for their sins, acts of contrition, confession of sins to a priest, abiding in the doctrines of the RC church, maintaining her sacraments faithfully, praying to Mary to forgive sins, etc.). Thus He is not "The Only Way there is to God" but instead they believe He only came and showed them the way that they can help save themselves as well, "IF" they are "good enough" to take up and finish where He left off.
THEREFORE: What the RC Church calls "Grace" is not the Saving kind that comes by faith alone (apart from "doing anything") in the Savior through His once-for-all finished and perfect work upon the cross alone, but they claim that salvation also comes by the Catholic church's sacramental works and its members necessary participation in them as well in order to gain grace, maintain it and finish the salvation work that Christ started, thus doing "their part" in helping God to save themselves.
The Roman Catholic has no choice but to believe that Christ is "A" way to God, not "THE" Way to God! What they are doing is counting the once-for-all shed blood of Christ an unworthy and unholy thing! This 'church' has replaced the Finished and Perfect Work of the Saviour by adding to it an 'Unfinished System of Self Works' in believing that what "they" do also pleases God.SPIRITUALISM

(Example: The saying and doing of Confessions, Acts of Contrition, Penances and taking part in the sacrifice of the mass are all done by them in order to "HELP GOD" pay for their own shortcomings and sins. Add to that the need to go to Purgatory after they die in order to be further purged of their sins, and it becomes these beliefs of theirs and the doing of them that show their blatant 'Unbelief' in His Perfect and Finished Work.)
