Until the 60's homosexuality was an "open and obvious sin" to the majority of God fearing folks, and same sex marriages were unheard of. Homosexuality was once looked upon as being shameful and disgraceful and a great many people despised homosexuality for the sin it was. People who were homosexuals before the advent of the 60's remained hidden in their closets. They didn't want anyone to know what they were doing, because it was a "sin". Also, there weren't that many homosexuals around back then. Same sex marriages have only recently developed, and it clearly shows us the depth and extent of this sickness.

In the "old" days homosexuals were ashamed to let people know what they are. Then, a sin was still a sin, especially this obvious and perverted one. That's obviously not the case these days! Like the leaves of the fig tree coming out of their buds and revealing themselves for what they are: "fig leaves", homosexuals too have been coming out of their closets and are now proudly and unashamedly parading themselves before the rest of the world today, just as they had in the days of Sodom and Gomorrah.

Every day more and more adolescent children are being exposed to all of this and grow up accustomed to it. In fact in these latter days the homosexuals are coming out of the woodwork in such vast numbers that to see and hear them you would think that they are in the majority. Instead of being ashamed for who they are and what they do, unlike the "old" days, they are proud to be homosexuals and come right out and say so.

What we are seeing is the emergence of Sodom and Gomorrah all over again! "Gay bars", "Ads of men wanting men and women wanting women", along with "same sex marriages" are becoming the norm of the day. More and more of society is being bombarded with and accepting the homosexual and this perverted life-style as an equal and viable part of society -- and all at the rejection of God's word!

Society can no longer distinguish what sin is! Is it a mistake? Or is it something that can't be helped? Or is it merely something to blame on God because they were born that way? Today's society is so far removed from God that they have taken and blended them all together as anything goes, having given the homosexuals and others like them special rights and protection and consider them as strong votes when running for public office.

Add to all of this that even many of the once "normal" folks (who once seemed to know what sin was) have been coming out in their defense (because many of them are members of their own family) and confess that they see little if anything wrong in who they've become and what they do. Very soon now it will even be illegal to speak out against the homosexual lifestyle. What does all this tell you!?

In the "old" days (before the 60's) you could; if you looked hard enough, find two unmarried people sleeping (i.e. "fornicating") together, yes - BUT - these were always few and far between. These people who slept together without being married, rarely, if ever broadcast their immoral and sinful acts before men. They knew that what they were doing was - "sinful", and knew that society as a whole would and did frown on them and not accept them for their sinful act.

It was considered "Kosher" in the "old" days not to sleep together, and many respected the other person too much to indulge in sex before marriage or even dare swear in their presence! Today that has all changed! There are so many "unmarried couples" sleeping together that this life-style is fast becoming accepted into todays society. Even the marriage laws have been changed to accept them as a type of unmarried husband and wife. Today few if any people see what they do as a "sin" and they and what they do are welcomed into society.

Todays children are being bombarded with unmitigated sex and filthy language wherever they turn, including peer pressure from other children who are allowed to live a loose and filthy-mouthed life with the blessings of their ungodly parents and even their presidents. Satan has always been out to destroy mankind! What better way than to pollute the children of the 60's and 70's so that the following generations who are bred and taught by these kinds of parents turn out to be lovers of everything wrong and evil and false and haters of everything right and good and true? Satan, through the lust of their flesh, rules these peoples!

Add to the above the ever-growing list of the number of todays "loose, give their children what they want", parents, parents who are raping their own children, and all of the other incest, beastiality and perversions going around. Add to this list the number of pedophiles, rapists, child molesters, child kidnappers, gays, lesbians, sex-change operations, body piercings, XXX rated movies, internet pornography, the Howard Stern's, strip joints, gay bars, porn shops, the pill, abortion clinics, the Rosanne Barr's, the Rosie O'Donnell's, the Jerry Springer's and the huge number of totally undisciplined, suicidal and hate-filled off spring that we are seeing more and more of today, and you cannot but help to see the end in sight. Just how sick is todays society? "Sick"!

What was "IMPOSSIBLE" to practice only 50 or so short years ago, is now allowed and even blessed, with the introduction of TV, the internet, PG and R rated movies, the pill, safe sex, sex education in schools, and todays permissive parents. One small example: Look millions of people and children in the eye and tell them flat out: "I DID NOT HAVE SEX WITH THAT WOMAN," and expect them to believe you. Such disgrace!!

We find that today 50% or more of todays population have either slept together or are sleeping together before they're married, and that more and more "children" (50% of them) are having sex before marriage as well. This is proof that they are growing up without salt and light; without the word of God, and have little or no respect for us, for one another nor for the marriage bed.

For Moses said, Honour thy father and thy mother; and, Whoso curseth father or mother, let him die the death: Mark 7:10

Before the 60's it was "extremely rare" to see children of any age dishonoring, disrespecting or sassing back to their parents (especially "Christian parents") the way that they do today, without one care or twinge of guilt for doing so. Rather than admit that the parents are justified by what they do under God, most of these children who dishonor their parents are glad for what they did - glad to be free from parental authority under God.

Not only that but todays children even go a step further and find ways to try and justify what they've done, and are even so bold as to tell others (who might listen to them) of their plight. This sign; done against those who stand solidly upon the word of God and will not move, is becoming more and more prevalent today. Children today despise any parent who speaks out against the specific sins of themselves or their children! They want to be free of such parents!

In the "old" days the word of God was respected and the child "respected" their parents wishes and would never think to talk back to them. Rather than have words that would cause instant repurcussions or even a permanent split or division to happen in the family, the child (adult or otherwise) would usually loosen "their" rights (especially where right morals were concerned) and honor the wishes of their parents, rather than bringing dishonor and shame to them!

Once, before the era of the 60's, the child usually grew up to be a parent who knew right from wrong for themselves as well as for their children. Their views on many things usually remained somewhat within the parameters of God's word (whether these parents knew it, believed it, or not), and they were respected for this stand. But no More!

Today many of the adolescent and grown children of these parents have stepped out of their parents old parameters, and some of the older children have led the younger children astray as well. That's why we're seeing so much self-centeredness, disrespect towards others, lying, anger, hatred, and even cold-blooded murder today. "All stemming from the signs of the fig tree!" There's no fear of God anymore! In todays parents we are seeing a complete lack of disciplinary love for their own children, plus they are too busy doing "their own thing".

Many of todays parents of these adolescent children have already left the parameters of God's words far behind. They did so when they left their parents (and their teachings), especially if these parents were "godly" and their children were conniving and disobedient -- i.e. "rebellious"! Many of todays parents have intentionally become too busy doing their own (more important) thing(s), than to babysit their children. TV, the movies and computers have replaced the parent!

My wife and I speak from personal experience when we say that it will be those in a Christian's (i.e. a true follower of Christ's) own family who will be so disgusted with their Christian parents and their solid and unwavering stand for Christ over the years that they will actually "Hate them" enough to have nothing more to do with them, and turn them over to the authorities (when that time comes - Matthew 24:9-12) for punishment. This is already happening in this and in other countries even as we speak!

"Do you suppose that I came to give peace on earth? I tell you, not at all, but rather division.

The very PRESENCE OF CHRIST in the heart and shining forth in the words of a bona-fide Christian is what brings light to all that hide in the darkness. That is why there is division, just as there is light and darkness and those who live in each. Evil is revealed because the light shines and shows up sin for what it is in God's eyes.

As "Christians" we are called to let our light (in both word and deed) shine. The unsaved world, especially unsaved family members of the kind as mentioned by Jesus above, hate (and I want to emphasize the word: "Hate") the light and those connected with it and want to nothing to do with it because it exposes their deeds (such as letting their young son go and live with his homosexual uncle and his live-in lover for a week) as being evil! John 3:19-21; Ephesians 5:8

When the Christian lifestyle is rejected and the homosexual lifestyle is accepted (as was in our case) then you can be sure that the end is near!

Note the underlined words: "without natural affection". How fitting are these words for todays abortionists. How simple it seems to change that which is alive and growing in a womans womb into a... "fetus". A "fetus" is just a "thing", just a "thing growing in the womb". When we change the words from a "baby growing in the womb" to a "thing", it makes all the difference in the world -- to someone without a conscience to tell right from wrong!

That same person and their doctor sees "good" in taking that "fetus" before it is born, turning it in the womb, taking it out of the womb feet first, keeping only the head inside as they suck the brains from the "fetus" for "stem-cell research"! How "sick" do people have to get before they recognize that what they are doing is "murder"??? Yet much of "todays society" accepts it - because their conscience is "dead".

Abortion was always around, but there were "few" of them. Until the 60's it became accepted as the thing to do, and today there are "millions" of them! What God designed as the result of love between a husband and a wife, is no longer in force today. In the last 40 years or so abortion, cloning, live embryo stem cell research, and the belief that: it's only a fetus / a thing until it is born out of a womans womb, have become household words.

Well over 50% of all of the "pregnancies" today (unwanted or otherwise) conceived in unmarried females rangining in ages between ten and twenty one, have been aborted and their babies lives snuffed out before they were born. (This number has grown to include the many millions of aborted babies added by the world this year alone!!!)

It is my belief that; except in the majority of rape cases how foolish, yet how convenient it is for any woman to believe that she can just ignore the baby in her womb and delete it any time she choses. Neither the man nor the woman seems to realize the immensity of what they have done to make a baby. The man gets out of his responsibility (but not responsibility for his sin before God) by simply walking away, and the woman by abortion. We are seeing much, much more of this "murderous sin" happening just over the past 40 years.

Since TV was born in the 50's and the 60's can you believe what's passing itself off as "comedy" these days??? Look at todays shows like The Moment Of Truth, for instance. Today, in order to become shocked or get a laugh on TV and elsewhere, it seems that one must talk about something filthy, something unholy, something about sex. Let's face it, the foul mouth or the foul implication points to what is "in" these days in order to make people laugh, and laugh every minute.

Today, it's not funny unless it's dirty - and the dirtier and more vulgar it is the more hilarious it is. Sit back and watch how the people cannot wait to laugh at these stupid and sickening jokes and sexual or homosexual inuendoes that we hear today, and you'll end up shaking your head. Even their own children are watching it with them. Any wonder why the children who watch this garbage with their parents are the way they are? Not at all!

Talk about "the shallow ground" in the parable of the sower??? I don't think anything can be shallower than the people who seek out and laugh at this kind of comedy! Thanks mainly to the era of TV it's growing worse and worse. These days every sit-com and comedy rated movie has to have its dirty inuendos, filthy talk, or sexual perversions in order to keep the ratings up and get the audience to laugh at this sick stuff over and over again. Todays audience is just waiting, just chomping at the bit for it. How sick and ungodly this sign points to the end. And there is no cure!

In the last 40 or 50 years the jails are being so filled up that there's not enough room in them. "More jails are needed", says society. Ever since they did away with capital punishment in most states it has opened wide the door to a form of "lawlessness" where the men and women who do premeditated crimes once punishable by death know that even if they get caught they will not be put to death for them (especially if they kill all the witnesses). Just look at the "O.J." trial. What a farce!

Look at all of the lawlessness that occurs today whenever hurricanes, other natural disasters or riots happen in cities and towns. It doesn't matter where: The USA, France, South America, Africa, etc. Lawlessness and rebellion is in the hearts of the people! In mob violence people think nothing of stealing what they want and destroying what they don't. Ungodly people today think nothing of killing for a few dollars, or even just for kicks, or to simply leave behind no witnesses to their crime.

These ungodly people think nothing of bashing your head in, breaking into stores, and walking away with as much loot as they can carry, all the while feeling that they deserve it. This is lawlessness run wild, and by not having or wanting the fear of God in them (i.e. not having or keeping the knowledge that one day they'll have to come and stand before Him and answer for their crimes) is a sure sign of the end.

Add to these many "Signs" that we are seeing today of killing others for the sake of promoting "Allah" and religion, and of all the rest of the corruption going on, the greed, and the steady violence seen on TV and elsewhere, and all of the ungodliness we see out there every day, and you cannot any longer doubt that these are the last days that Jesus spoke of in Matthew 24 that mark the beginning of the end!

"This generation" is fast becoming "Dead", "Numb", to the pain and sufferings of others around them today. They've lost their sensativity and conscience concerning all these things! All of the violence, etc., that they keep on seeing everyday at the movies, on their computers, and on TV has made their hearts... "hard". The last of "this generation" began in the 50's and the 60's... and will continue to wax worse and worse unto the end.

(In my estimation; based upon the revelation knowledge of the word of God with what we are seeing and smelling out there growing like a pile of manure today, along with the swiftness in which we are watching it grow, I'd say that at this rate the end could be no more than 15 or 20 years away... or less. When He comes it will be sudden, and there will be no escape for the ungodly!)

"Love the Lord thy God with your whole heart, mind, soul, and strength", -- "love your neighbor as you love yourself"... are two of God's prime commands that are fast disappearing from the face of the earth!

The more that these two commandments (which encompass the entire teachings of the law and the prophets) are being ignored today; along with ignoring the word of God and/or keeping it away from the ears of the hearers, then the less salt and light there will be, the less it will be tolerated by those who don't want to hear it, and the quicker the leaves of the fig tree grow and come to full fruition!

When once the master of the house is risen up, and hath shut to the door, and ye begin to stand without, and to knock at the door, saying, Lord, Lord, open unto us; and he shall answer and say unto you, I know you not whence ye are: Luke 13:25

What we are seeing in Christian circles today; compared to Jesus' time; and is trying to pass itself off as "Christianity" today, is near incredulous to the born again Christian. That is how bad it is and smells! It is a sure sign of Jesus' soon return. The true born again Christian avoids what is passing itself off as being "Christian" today. Why? Scriptures as 2 Cor. 6:17 - because they are set FREE - because these have spiritual discernment (1 John 2:27) - they Know God (John 10:14) therefore they know what's not of God - they have their spiritual senses excercized to know the differences (Hebrews 5:14).

The church is to preach the whole counsel of God being sensitive to the leadings of the Holy Spirit (without regard to what people want to hear or what is most likely to engender a “positive” response) and leave the results to God. If we allow ourselves to be sidetracked by social issues or fear of the reaction of others because we speak the truth, then we have stepped out of the will of God and are simply “making the world a better place to go to Hell from (as many 'evangelists' are doing today).”

Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron; 1 Timothy 4:1-2

In Matthew 24 the greatest sign of them all is where the nation of Israel has to be in place again (Matthew 24:15ff) in their land, before the apostacy (or falling away) and the coming of the antichrist -- and it is!
This sign proves that these are the last days and the one where Israel again became a nation in 1948, and with God's help fights in order to live against impossible odds and the Muslim nations just to remain a nation...

But I scattered them with a whirlwind among all the nations whom they knew not. Thus the land was desolate after them, that no man passed through nor returned: for they laid the pleasant land desolate. Zechariah 7:14

And I will bring again the captivity of my people of Israel, and they shall build the waste cities, and inhabit them; and they shall plant vineyards, and drink the wine thereof; they shall also make gardens, and eat the fruit of them. Amos 9:14

Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day (of 2 Thessalonians 2:1-3) shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition.

"THAT DAY" that Paul speaks of, is the Day of the Lord and our gathering to meet Him (verse 1). It is the day of His coming! However, before that day comes there will come wars and rumors of wars, and mens heart fainting because of the amount of lawlessness (the signs described above), the apostacy, and those who want to hear the words of men over the word of God and therefore have already become part of the antichrist spirit.

Add to all of these signs the absolutely crazed radical muslims who hate the Jews and the free world with a passion not seen since Hitler. The Muslim religion has grown to nearly 1 1/2 billion today, and they're still killing each other in the name of Allah! A time is coming when you will hear them saying that they are a peaceful religion and that if you don't convert to Islam they will rightfully kill you and take away all your possessions.

To this add the many who are deceived into believing that Jesus must return before the great tribulation begins, along with those who swallowed the easy-believism gospel where one can be saved from their sins without having to repent of (i.e. 'turn away from') them, including the many false prophets going around these days proclaiming, 'Peace, Peace'! Not to mention all of "The Political Correctness" going on which has brought this country to the brink of destruction!

Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake. And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another. And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many. And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold. But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved. Matthew 24:9-13
