1. THE CATHOLIC FAITH IS ONE THAT WALKS BY SIGHT!?
It is this very religion that blinds many to the truth, making them think they see and obey when they are in fact blind.
Yet it is written: 2 Cor 5:7 (For we walk by faith, not by sight:)
The Christian walks by faith in Christ alone apart from everything else! He walks according to the revelation of Jesus Christ (not the revelation of the world) that he has received when he first believed.
The Catholic, on the other hand, is taught to walk by a "sight" religion, one based
on their eucharists, statues, holy water, pictures, altars, candles, priests, scapulars,
beads, crucifixes, motions, mass cards, etc. All these replace "faith"!
2. THE CATHOLIC FAITH MAKES A PRACTICE OF SIN!?
It is the religion itself that actually helps cause its followers to practice, excuse and continue on in their sins without end, by making an easy out for their sins week after week.
Yet Jesus keeps on saying: "Go and SIN NO MORE!" ( John 8:11 )
He wouldn't say this if He didn't give His believers the power to do just that! Jesus makes no mention anywhere of how after one comes to know the Truth (that Christ has died for our sin and on the third day is risen for our righteousness) they can continue on sinning day after day and week after week without end, or that there is a further way out to use as an excuse for repetitious sinning!
The Christian grieves over sin. Since his becoming a new creature in Christ (i.e. since his becoming "born again" of God) he truly "hates and abhors" sin, so much so that he no longer "practices" it knowing he has been freed from its grip and has the Holy Spirit living in him!
The Catholic, on the other hand, "sins". They may not "like" it, but they don't hate and abhor it the way the Christian does either! They believe that all they have to do is go to a priest, confess their sins to him (rather than go to God directly through Christ), say or make dozens of repetitious prayers and penances to help absolve them of it, eat the wafer and the wine (calling it the body and blood of Christ) and become cleansed of the same, repeated sins... until next time, next week, next confession, next participation in the mass.
In this way they are made to believe that they have a blessing from their church where they believe that they have found a way out from the Penalty of sin and therefore can go and continue on in their sins and sinning ways without fear of repurcussions. They are taught to believe they shouldn't sin, but if they can't help it, they can keep on sinning right up to the time of their death (with the hope of being further purged of their unpaid for sins in "purgatory", in order that they may suffer for and finish what their church claims that Christ couldn't finish!?) and somehow still go to heaven.
It is "The Roman Catholic Church" that teaches and uses this SYSTEM or FORMULA in order
to "save a member in good standing" and make them think that they alone have the divine
power to purge a mans sins. And yet they do not teach men The Gospel:
"Repent of your sins and have Faith Alone (apart from works, apart from the sacraments)
in the Savior to receive God's Saving Grace and purge you of sin by the word of God
(by hearing this Gospel) and by blood He shed upon the cross once and for all 2,000 years
ago (never to be repeated again in any way, shape or form), and ask Him to forgive you
and empower you to live unto Him, and... GO AND SIN NO MORE!"
3. THERE IS NO LASTING PEACE IN THE CATHOLIC RELIGION!?
Ever watch most Catholics? They're always on the go, into this activity and that, afraid to stop for fear of hearing their conscience tell them that they must been born again.
Yet Jesus says: John 14:27 Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.
The Christian has found and Knows he has found "perfect peace with God"! A "Peace" worth far more than all the riches of the world!
The Catholic, on the other hand, is restless, even from the moment he leaves the Sunday mass.
They're always working to try and gain enough goodness and righteousness to make God happy,
rather than seeing themselves for who (depraved) and what (sinners) they are, causing them
to fly to Christ and be saved!
4. THE CATHOLIC RELIGION REJECTS HIS FINISHED WORK!?
Again it is their very religion that helps give them cause to reject His once and for all work, by adding works of their own doing to His own (like adding "Doing Penance" for their own sins; having to "Suffer for them" in purgatory; etc").
Yet it is written that Jesus took and nailed them all to His cross ( Col.2:14 ).
The Christian "Believes", and that is why he Trusts and Rests Upon Christ's finished work alone!
The Catholic, on the other hand; by gathering unto himself and "doing", penances, purgatory
time, water baptism, indulgences, and good works, is not "doing" faith in His "Finished" work!
5. THE CATHOLIC RELIGION REFUSES HIS SACRIFICE FOR THEIR OWN!?
Once again their own religion teaches them to refuse His sacrifice and offer them bread (grain) and wine (fruit) intead ("Cain's offering!"), that has supposedly been transformed into the actual body and blood of Christ!
Yet such an "offering" will save no one! Jesus offered Himself (not some objects that represent Him) as the one sacrifice for sins, 2,000 years ago ( Heb.10:12 ) - never to be repeated in any way, shape or form ever again ( Heb.10:1 )!
The Christian eats His body that was broken for him and drinks His blood that was shed for him, by "Faith"!
The Catholic, on the other hand, is led into "idolatry", courtesy of their religion! The
"wafer" and the "mass" represents their true "God".
6. THE CATHOLIC RELIGION IS ONE HAVING NO ASSURANCE OF FAITH OR SALVATION!?
The reason they do not is because they have no revelation of Him! The reason why they don't really know Him is because their religion has kept the true Gospel from them! Therefore they have built their foundation on "another rock": the shifting sands of "The Holy Roman Catholic Church" and what they teach their people about salvation.
It is written: Heb 11:1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
The born again Christian KNOWS ABSOLUTELY they are saved and are Christ's! This is not a "boast" but "fact"! They are assured of this Assurance by the Lord Himself ( 1 Thes.1:5 ).
The unregenerated Catholic, on the other hand, has no assurance that they'll ever be saved. Their church has even made it "anathema" to dare think they are (according to God's own word:) "SAVED" and "KNOW" that they are saved - and in fact the RC church has even excommunicated those who dare say they know for sure (as the born again Christian does!) that they are indeed SAVED through faith; apart from the church, apart from works, apart from the church's sacraments, but saved in Christ through faith in Him and His finished work alone!"
You won't find Him in the RC church my friend!
One more thing. Whatever happened to the RC's Second Commandment???...
"Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth. Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them."
