WELCOME TO THE UNITARIAN UNIVERSALIST CHURCH OF WINCHENDON

The Church of the Unity was organized in 1866 by Unitarians desiring a liberal religious community in Winchendon. It is affiliated with the Unitarian Universalist Association. We are an open-minded and inclusive fellowship committed to the search for truth and to serving the community around us. [Unitarian, Universalist Association Covenant.]

Our philosophy is such that we wish to actively seek out exposure to as many differing ideas, concepts and hypotheses as possible in order that we may glean all the teachings of value as we can. It is felt that seeking to be only with those that agree with us creates an unhealthy sectarianism.
